What Are The Side Effects of 1-Dehydroepiandrosterone? As with all anabolic compounds that actually produce results, there are some risks of side-effects occurring. However, due to the unique nature of 1-DHEA, many of the traditional side-effects of anabolic compounds have been negated. Three of the most important aspects of 1-DHEA are the facts that it is non-methylated and that it does not actively covert into estrogen or DHT while it is being broken down by the body.
