If you want to live your best life then I’ve got news for you friend. How you manage the 4 pillars of success is going to be the determining factor of whether or not you get to live a life of peace & prosperity or turmoil & regret. So heed these words wisely…There are 4 pillars of success in life.By effectively mastering and molding each of these pillars to your life you will—in time—become massively successful. If you ignore these pillars your life will be filled with much suffering and regret. The 4 pillars of success in life are:1. The Pillar of Diet2. The Pillar of Exercise3. The Pillar of Work4. The Pillar of SleepBy creating an effective plan of action for each of these pillars and following through with that plan daily, you will become successful. People love to overcomplicate things but it really is as simple as that. So let’s get started. The Pillar of DietYou are what you eat.I don’t mean that in some sort of cutesy way, I literally mean you are what you eat.If you eat like a pig, then you are a pigIf you eat like garbage, then you are garbageIf you eat like a king, then you are a kingThe food you eat and the drinks you drink have a DIRECT relationship between how you look & how you feel on a daily basis. What you put into your body is what you will get out of your body, plain and simple. A wise man once said “Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food”, and he was right on the money with that observation over 2,000 years ago. We have more sickness, disease, and unhealthy people in the world today than ever before in the history of humanity. We also eat the most fake, processed, low-nutritional value food in the history of the world. See a correlation?Opt-out. Don’t eat that sh*t anymore. Come up with a real meal-plan that is:Based on whole foods (plants or animals)Naturally produced (it was alive at one point)In-line with what our bodies want to eat (high fat & protein)You need to do this if you want to be healthy, have energy, & live for a long time. The Pillar of ExerciseSurprise, surprise, not only are we eating the worst food we ever have before—we are also exercising the least amount that we ever have. The average American is inactive for over 12+ hours day, when they are awake. If you count an average of 8 hours of sleep, that means on average many people are only moving their bodies for 4 out of 24 hours a day! This is simply unacceptable. Your body was made to MOVE.So go out there and move it!You should have a weekly plan for exercise and how you are going to move your body. This, as with everything else, does not need to be complicated. At minimum you should be walking 10,000 steps a day. At maximum you’re going hard in the gym for 1-2 hours, 6 days a week. Feel free to fall anywhere in-between those two points you’d like. Tailor it to your lifestyle and current activity levels. If you don’t go to the gym at all, don’t expect to become a gym fanatic overnight. Start off slow and gradually build up.That’s how winnin’ is done. The Pillar of WorkThey say that you will spend 1/3rd of your life working, so it’s pretty important that you figure out what you enjoy working on and how you work best. There are many different methods out there for how to produce the highest quality work that you can. What many of them boil down to are 2 simple things:1. Consistency2. EffortConsistency is first because to do something well you must do it often.Effort is second because you reap what you sow. Working a lot with no effort leads to nowhereWorking a little with a lot of effort leads to nowhereYou must work often and put in effort to be successful. Whether you are working for someone else or you are working for yourself, it is important to be consistent and put in effort if you wish to succeed.Create a work schedule and stick to that schedule religiously. If you’re a 9-5 kind of guy, work from 9-5If you’re a 6-10, then 2-6 kind of guy, do thatIf you’re a Midnight-6AM kind of guy, then burn that midnight oilWhen you work, what you work on, and how you work are all up to you. Do whatever makes you produce the best work. However, you MUST be consistent and you MUST put in effort to succeed. The Pillar of SleepLast but certainly not least we have the pillar of sleep. Sleep is one of the most under-appreciated and undervalued things that you can do. People love to brag about how little sleep they’ve gotten but really, that’s just stupid.Getting enough sleep every night is CRUCIAL to living a happy, successful, and productive life. Did you know that a common torture technique is to force someone to stay awake for 48+ hours?Being awake for 24 hours is rough, but once you cross the 48 hour threshold you start going crazy. You hallucinate, you freak out, and if you don’t sleep for around 1 week, you die. So yeah, sleep is pretty important. Get a solid 7-9 hours of sleep a night. The best way to do this is to plan out a SCHEDULE for when you should be going to bed and when you should be waking up every day.Like everything else, consistency is important here.Your bed-time + wake-time should be in a 1 hour window every day. For example:Asleep by 11 PM – 12 AM everydayAwake by 7 AM – 8 AM everydayBy following a daily schedule for when you go to bed and when you wake up everyday, your body will quickly get accustomed to that timing and operate efficiently according to that schedule. Tailor it to your personal needs, but make a schedule and stick to it!The 4 Pillars of Success are the FOUNDATIONS upon which you build your best life. Diet, Exercise, Work & Sleep. That’s all you need to focus on. By mastering all 4 of these pillars, everything else in your life will quickly fall into place. By neglecting 1 or more of these pillars, everything else in your life will be on shaky ground. It really is as simple as that.– RedSteveAre You Interested In Having The Most EPIC Workouts Of Your Life?RED LION Is Here To Help You Do Just That!If you want to have EPIC training sessions every time you step foot into a gym, onto a field, or wherever you may find yourself working out, then this pre-workout supplement will help you do just that. Here’s the deal:We’ve just created what we believe is one of the most intense, highly dosed, energy packed, muscle boosting, pump inducing, BADASS, pre-workout supplement’s on the market today.
