Being Lean vs Being Thin
Being thin is generally the common goal of many people who want to maximize their looks, it is important to contrast the difference between being thin, and being lean.
Thin is a general term that can be applied to anybody who essentially lacks any hint of muscularity on their body.
Having a bone-rack physique might also equate to having a lean face in some instances, but most guys who look “thin” are actually what is known as “Skinny Fat.”
These individuals are thin, but still have a substantial amount of body fat.
Safely hidden behind their clothes they may appear somewhat in shape with their muffin top hiding from the world to see, but they have a pesky layer of fat weight shrouding their facial features.
This facial fat commonly leads to guys thinking that they need surgical procedures to fix their supposed shortcomings (or they think they’re doomed to sexual mediocrity for the rest of their existence).
They have this idea that they are in shape but they just have ugly faces. Which is rarely the case to be honest. And I’m telling you right now, there is hope.
What is the hope for a puffed up face?
You have no clue what your facial features look like unless you have reached single digit levels of body fat % (under 10%).
So many guys are so completely deluded about what kind of potential they actually have and how attractive they could be if they just put down the Twinkies.
How many guys do you see walking around who actually have a sharp, defined jaw line and prominent facial features?
It is actually so rare that many people simply think that those traits are reserved only for genetically gifted models.

So why was I bulking up to 250 pounds just to look like a pile of garbage?
I cut down to 7% body fat after that with a bit of diet manipulation, exercise and a decent fat burner and never looked back.
My results with women since getting a lean face have become substantially better, and I am far healthier to boot!
So how do you actually get that lean and chiseled face?
And can you actually lose face fat?
You can reduce face fat but you cannot only lose facial fat. Forget about SPOT REDUCTION because it doesn't work! You cannot get a lean face and shredded jaw line by chewing gum all day long.
If you want a sharp jaw line then the rest of your physique will have to match in body composition. You absolutely cannot pick and choose exactly where you lose fat, it simply doesn’t work like that. You can't just make your face slimmer….
But what you can do is get lean EVERYWHERE.
To get lean everywhere, and get that chiseled jawline of the Gods, you need to manipulate your diet accordingly. Here's how in 3 steps:
#1 – Start counting your calories and ensure you are operating in a state of energy deficit each day.
By energy deficit, I mean you need to be taking in fewer calories (eating less) than your body expends to fuel your everyday activities.
When you ensure you are eating less than your maintenance level of calories, it is literally impossible for your body to not resort to stored energy (body fat) to provide it the energy it needs to sustain itself.
The key to getting lean, and continuing to get leaner, is every time your fat loss plateaus, all you need to do is simply increase the deficit of calories you are taking in each day. Do this by either eating less, or increasing your exercise intensity, duration, or frequency.
All of these will increase the disparity between your energy intake, and your overall energy expenditure.
As you continue to decrease your energy intake each time your fat loss plateaus, you can eventually get to a point where you are so lean that you have hardly any visible body fat on your body, and more importantly your facial features.
#2 – Follow a low carbohydrate and low sodium diet.
If you want to get as diced up as possible, you can further accentuate how sharp your jaw line and facial features are by following a low carbohydrate and low sodium diet.
Carbohydrates and sodium absorb water like a sponge, and when your intake of these two things is too high, your body will inevitably bloat more from it.
Hence, I suggest doing a low carb or a completely keto (no carb) style diet if you truly want to get that model face look where your jaw looks like it’s so damn sharp it could cut someone.
There's no such thing as a face diet, but this diet comes the closest.
#3 – Increase the hell out of your water intake.
99% of people don’t drink enough fluids each day, and when you deprive your body of an adequate amount of water, it will bloat itself in order to hold onto the small amount of water you are giving it.
Much like a camel would, your body holds onto all the fluids you give it if it senses it doesn’t have enough hydration to sustain itself.
To completely eliminate this bloating you want to start drinking around a gallon of water per day.
This will mitigate that annoying water retention that your body will naturally start doing if you don’t drink enough H20.
